U.S. Military Academies Information Session - Tuesday, October 7

Heather Harvey, from Congressman André Carson’s office, will visit Bishop Chatard to share information about the application process for U.S. military academies. All freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and their parents are invited to attend and learn more about the steps involved in applying. Questions? Contact Kate Burkett.

Purdue Women in Engineering Day - Monday, October 20

High school juniors and seniors, along with their parents/guardians, are invited to Purdue University in West Lafayette to explore Purdue Engineering through a special program designed for women interested in engineering. This free event will feature sessions highlighting different majors and programs, tours of the West Lafayette campus or residence halls, and opportunities to connect with current students and staff. Pilgrimage Opportunity: Camino de Santiago, Fall Break 2026

We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for our students: a school pilgrimage along the historic Camino de Santiago in Spain during Fall Break 2026. For centuries, pilgrims have traveled this sacred path as a journey of faith, prayer, and personal discovery.

Our students will walk part of the Camino together—strengthening their relationship with Christ, building lasting friendships, and experiencing Catholic tradition in a profound and meaningful way. This will be a time not only of spiritual growth but also of creating unforgettable memories.

A student call-out meeting will be held on Thursday, October 9, after school in the Theatre Room. Details on itinerary and costs will be shared at that time. We hope to see your student there!

Sophomore Parent Gift Gathering Party

Every fall, parents from each class host a Gift Gathering Party to support Bishop Chatard’s second-largest fundraiser, Chatard-a-Bration. These parties are a fun and meaningful tradition—bringing parents together to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, and enjoy a great evening—all while giving back to a worthy cause and joining in a little friendly class competition!

Our annual Trivia Night, hosted by the Athletic Booster Club and sponsored by Blingle Premier Lighting and Zink Distributing, takes place on Saturday, October 4 at 6:30 pm. Help Wanted - Trojan Tots Preschool

Trojan Tots Preschool is hiring substitute teachers and a maternity leave position for November to work with our young Trojans. This position has flexible hours from 7 am – 5:30 pm. Trojan Tots follows the same school calendar as Bishop Chatard High School. Our preschool serves children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Substitute teachers are used to cover classrooms when teachers are off as well as to cover lunch breaks and prep time. Interested individuals should email their resume to Kathryn Grose, Director of Early Childhood Education, at kgrose@bishopchatard.org.
