Student Callout Meeting for Pilgrimage Opportunity - Thursday, October 9

We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for our students: a school pilgrimage along the historic Camino de Santiago in Spain during Fall Break 2026. Our students will walk part of the Camino together—strengthening their relationship with Christ, building lasting friendships, and experiencing Catholic tradition in a profound and meaningful way. This will be a time not only of spiritual growth but also of creating unforgettable memories.

A student call-out meeting will be held on Thursday, October 9, after school in the Theatre Room. Details on itinerary and costs will be shared at that time. We hope to see your student there!

Music/Theatre Yard Signs - Order By Friday

Recognize your performer with a BCHS yard sign! Show your support for our music and theatre students with a personalized yard sign. Costs are $25 for a one-sided sign or $35 for a two-sided sign (same design on both sides). Signs are optional and for personal display. Click here to order. Playbill Ovations & Sponsorships

Support the cast and crew of our 2025 fall play, Charlotte’s Web, and the BCHS Theatre program! Celebrate a performer or crew member with a personal Ovation in the playbill, or show your support by becoming a Theatre Sponsor or Patron.

All ovations and sponsor ads must be submitted by October 29, 2025, to appear in the fall play playbill. Become a Patron by that date, and your name will also be listed in the playbill!

Veterans Day Mass - Tuesday, November 11

Please join Bishop Chatard High School on Tuesday, November 11, as we honor those who have served our nation at our annual Veterans Day Mass. Mass will feature a full Color Guard detail and short presentation by a special Veteran.

• Doors open at 9:15 am with Mass beginning at 9:30 am
• Parking: Attendees can park on the east side of Crittenden Avenue and enter the school via Door #1, the main lobby entrance
• Mass will be followed by a short reception in the cafeteria

Purdue Women in Engineering Day - Monday, October 20

High school juniors and seniors, along with their parents/guardians, are invited to Purdue University in West Lafayette to explore Purdue Engineering through a special program designed for women interested in engineering. This free event will feature sessions highlighting different majors and programs, tours of the West Lafayette campus or residence halls, and opportunities to connect with current students and staff. Every fall, parents from each class host a Gift Gathering Party to support Bishop Chatard’s second-largest fundraiser, Chatard-a-Bration. These parties are a fun and meaningful tradition—bringing parents together to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, and enjoy a great evening—all while giving back to a worthy cause and joining in a little friendly class competition!

As Bishop Chatard’s second-largest fundraiser, Chatard-a-Bration supports the Annual Fund, which provides tuition assistance for more than half of our students and ensures fair compensation for our dedicated teachers. Watch for more information later this fall!

Jr. Trojan Girls Basketball

Jr. Trojans Girls Basketball is once again offering developmental programming for North Deanery girls grades 3-8. Our 2025 developmental program is for girls who need or would like to grow their basketball skills. Girls will participate in training sessions on Sunday evenings starting in November through January. BCHS Varsity Head Coach Dan Wagner and former JV Head Coach Ana Adams will be leading training sessions. Cost is $50 per player. Help Wanted - Trojan Tots Preschool

Trojan Tots Preschool is hiring substitute teachers and a maternity leave position for November to work with our young Trojans. This position has flexible hours from 7 am – 5:30 pm. Trojan Tots follows the same school calendar as Bishop Chatard High School. Our preschool serves children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Substitute teachers are used to cover classrooms when teachers are off as well as to cover lunch breaks and prep time. Interested individuals should email their resume to Kathryn Grose, Director of Early Childhood Education, at kgrose@bishopchatard.org.
