MERCURY V8 VERADO POWERHEAD
REPLACEMENT – PART 2 |

Hey boaters!
We’re back with part two of our Mercury V8 Verado powerhead replacement! After receiving the new powerhead, our tech team double-checked our inventory to make sure everything we needed was ready to go.
They started by removing all the peripherals from the old engine, carefully reinstalling many of them before mounting the new powerhead onto the mid-section. Once that was done, the rest of the engine came back together piece by piece. |

Now for the fun part — the first startup! With the computer hooked up, we got a clean test fire, then ran the engine in our tank to check for any leaks or fault codes. Everything looked great, so it was time for the ultimate test: running her on the water. She ran perfectly! |
