I was blessed to attend the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area Mission Gathering on September 16, 2023 at Adamsville Baptist Church. At the gathering, we had two great speakers. First, was Shirley McDonald, Recording Secretary for National WMU. She encouraged us to put our Hope in Christ and to put our
Faith into Practice. In the afternoon, was Tamiko Jones Executive Director- Treasurer from WMU of TX. She gave us a report of what WMU of TX has been doing though out this year and why it is important to give to the Mary Hill Davis Offering. She talked about the 3 E’s- to Engage in local missions, establish partnership for missions and Empower others for worldwide missions. During this time, she also encouraged us to know our Why and to go and be on mission. During the event, was a panel of missionaries who have served in different areas of the world. They shared their passion of being on the field, their struggles and several God moments while serving. It was a reminder of why it is important to pray, promote and give to missions. We also had New Beginnings of Restoration and Hope Pregnancy Resource Center from Lampasas, TX. Joann the founder and director shared her testimony and why she started the center. She also shared the importance of the center, the outreach they do and some stories of the people who come to the center.
We also had a wonderful time of worship lead by Talon Keeney. At lunch time was a wonderful meal by Rephena Graham and her team and Adamsville ladies did an excellent job on the dessert. Overall, it was a blessed time of worship, fellowship, encouragement and equipping us to be on mission. If you were not able to come we hope to see you at the next event.

Estimados pastores,
Atentamente,

"THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION"
feat. Rev. Richard Ray
| A Message from Kelly Shackelford for Pastors of First Liberty University "Restoring Faith in America" - Public Prayer | |
Adult Conference Center - Projected Opening Date: January 1, 2024
To achieve that we desperately need some volunteer help.
We need help putting the bed box frames together, hanging towel racks, clothing racks, etc. We could use help with painting, touch up painting. "staging" the rooms.
If you happened to have anybody that is good at taping and floating, that would be helpful as well.

Better Together
Networking means leveraging efforts - working together.
And "together" means all of us - youth workers, teenage leaders, teachers, parents, other adults - everyone who loves kids.
We want to equip you to step out and work alongside youth leaders and other caring adults locally - empowered by national connections to reach and equip young people for Jesus Christ.

We are excited to share that our latest resource is our online learning system featuring Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry which introduces learners to six essential characteristics emulating Jesus’ ministry:
- Go deeper in intimacy with Christ
- Pray with passion for God’s presence and power
- Build leaders for in-depth and long-term ministry
- Disciple students to move toward maturity in Christ
- Penetrate the culture through relationships
- Create outreach opportunities to reach students for Christ
While we still offer in-person training forums, we believe the addition of individualized online training will put this invaluable resource into the hands of many more people. Because we offer the training in English, Spanish, Russian, and Swahili, it will exponentially increase our reach.
We are building on our past to influence the future. And we are giving JFYMO away free to youth leaders during our introductory period. You can learn more by visiting JFYMO.com.
