Happy New Year! The year 2025 is now upon us and we are busy serving our area churches as they prepare to reach their communities for Jesus Christ. There is no break in ministry as you all know and nor should there be as we are commissioned by our Savior Jesus Christ to pray, preach and proclaim the message of salvation. We at Tri-Rivers Baptist Area are commissioned by you the Church to walk alongside you in this ministry calling and we serve the Lord together as a “Brotherhood of Churches.”
This past week I was able to serve our churches and its leadership through emergency pulpit supply, counseling through challenging ministry obstacles, and daily ministry support. On Sunday, I was honored to worship and preach at Clariette Baptist Church of Erath Association followed by attending the Lampasas Baptist Association Pastor/Leadership Meeting hosted by FBC Kempner that afternoon.
If you haven’t already, please complete our Ministry Education Survey and our Meeting the Needs Survey (we will gather this information through January) as we plan on providing Ministry Education Opportunities and Ministry Opportunities in 2025. Your Tri-Rivers Baptist Area Board Church Recovery Fund continues to grow as we seek to assist our area churches who are struggling with their property insurance needs. In this newsletter, we have shared the details on how the Church Recovery Fund will operate. Please view the Newsletter or website for more information and please complete the Church Property Insurance Survey in this newsletter if your church hasn’t already. Texas Baptist is also gathering information from churches to investigate the possibility of providing insurance (see more on this in this newsletter).

Hello all! I hope and pray you had a blessed week! Please take a moment to pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ as we fulfill the Great Commission together. It's all about Jesus! (Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 4:11-13)

This past Sunday, I preached and led worship at First Baptist Church of Evant. Following that, I attended the Lampasas Baptist Association Business Meeting hosted by FBC Kempner. Tuesday, I attended Fairy Baptist Church's New Years Eve Celebration.
This coming Sunday, I will be preaching at Clear Creek Baptist Church. Following that, I will be attending the Coryell Baptist Association Business Meeting hosted by Pidcoke Baptist Church. Thursday, I will be assisting Calvary Baptist Church of Stephenville with streaming issues. Friday, I will be attending CEO Mike Wilson of Latham Springs Baptist Encampment's Retirement Recognition and Celebration. Saturday, I will be attending the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area Staff Luncheon hosted at your Tri-Rivers Retreat Center. Throughout the week I will be in and out of the Area Office fulfilling the needs of our area churches.
I am available to assist any of our area churches who need a guest preacher, worship leader, or musician, and I am available to give sound, video, and media consultation assistance.

Dear Brother and Sister,
This past year, I have enjoyed and been blessed with fellowship and working with you and your church in 2024. We have come together to on many occasions in praising and worshiping God through music, bible studies and prayer. Also celebrating church anniversaries, revivals, association meeting and many other events.
This past December I met with other ladies from the associations, Richard and Talon to plan our Tri-Rivers Baptist Area Mission Gathering and talked about other ideas for the year. I am looking forward to the event and other events across the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area and seeing what God has planned for the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area Women/WMU in 2025.
I encourage you to stay close to God through prayer, worship, bible study and through unity and fellowship with other believers. I also encourage you to learn more about missions, pray for them and to be on mission.

I am so thrilled to be a part of the Tri-Rivers team, serving as the Strategic Ministry Director.
Over the past week, I have was able to meet with a youth pastor to discuss Jesus Focused Youth Ministry and missions. Additionally, I collaborated with the National Network of Youth Ministries to help plan a retreat at the TRBA Retreat Center in March, where state youth leaders will develop action plans to reach this generation with the Gospel in 2025.
Last Sunday, I filled the pulpit at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Kempner, followed by a meeting with the Lampasas Baptist Association Pastors and Leaders.
I am available to provide volunteer training at your church, including roles such as greeters, teachers, and even youth ministry strategy training. Also, it is time to consider spring and summer missions. If your church desires assistance in planning a local or international mission project, I am readily available to help you brainstorm and even help plan your trip or project. I do have a youth group who is looking to come to our area to help with a project at your church and in your area. If you have something that you need help with over a weekend or even during the week of Spring Break, let me know - they are willing to come help!
I am also willing to supply preach for your church.
It is my joy to help and serve in any ministry needs at your church. Please do not hesitate to contact me to explore how I can be of assistance.

Disaster Relief Orientation
This is where TBM Disaster Relief training begins. All TBM Disaster Relief volunteers must complete this training as well as a background check in order to serve. This class provides the fundamentals for serving in the wake of disasters. Click here to begin.

Dear Texas Baptist (BGCT) Churches,
As you well know, the current property insurance environment for Texas Baptist churches is difficult at best, and dire for many. These circumstances have prompted the BGCT to explore potential solutions, including forming a captive insurance pool. Administered through a new corporation (yet to be formed) which will be under the control of the BGCT, the insurance pool would function much like a coop to provide insurance coverage for our churches.
We believe the benefits of this pool will include stable coverage, competitive rates and deductibles, stronger incentives, and more ministry investment. A feasibility study specifically for the Texas Baptists Insurance Program is currently underway and will be critical in determining our next steps.
If you would be interested in providing your church information for this insurance feasibility study, please send your contact information to your Director of Missions as he is compiling an interest list to be forwarded to Texas Baptist.
Once we receive your contact information, you will receive a request for basic insurance information that will only take a few minutes to complete. This information will be vital in setting up this new program and in partnering with us that will benefit both your church and our family of Texas Baptist churches.
