“Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
On Sunday, I was blessed to worship and sing at Fairy Baptist Church on my wife Monica Ray birthday. It was a wonderful day with family as we celebrated and worshiped together. Sunday afternoon, as I was with family, Talon Keeney your Associate Director attended and led worship for the Erath Baptist Association WMU Annual Meeting hosted at FBC Stephenville.
This is October which means that each of the Associations within the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area will be hosting their Annual Meetings of Messengers. We have mailed out promotional information per associations to each church as well as messenger bulletins that includes each agenda items to be voted on and discussed. Please RSVP if you plan to attend your Associational Annual Meeting of Messengers as this helps the host church plan for this gathering.
This past week, I traveled throughout the area ministering to our area churches and ministry partners. Please review our Summary of Service below that shows where and how we have served you.
Attention Children Ministers. Tri-Rivers Baptist Area and our Area WMU Leadership is sponsoring and hosting a wonderful children’s concert at the Gatesville Auditorium. Please look at this newsletter for additional
information.
If your church has not completed our Property Insurance Survey, please do so. This information helps serve our area churches who have been impacted with dropped property insurance. We are also collaborating with our State Conventions to look for additional avenues of relief. Your Tri-Rivers Baptist Area Board has adopted a Church Recovery Fund that has been created to
assist our area churches who are struggling with this property insurance. In this newsletter, we have shared the details on how the Church Recovery Fund will operate. Please see the Newsletter for more information and please complete the Church Property Insurance Survey in this newsletter if your church hasn’t already.
This week, we will again be working with area churches on evangelism opportunities, meeting with a women’s group, preparing the Tri-Rivers
Retreat Center in preparation for this weekend Retreat of BSM Students (70 plus students). We are also exited to partner with our WMU to present a Children’s Live Show “Trinity Toonz” (See newsletter for more details)
This Sunday, Talon and I will be leading Worship for the Revival Services (Sunday – Wednesday) at Fairy Baptist Church with Pastor Don McConnaughhay of Pidcoke Baptist Church delivering God’s Word.
Please continue to view this Newsletter for Ministry Opportunities within the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area. It is our joy to serve all our area churches in meeting the various needs of the church and its leadership. We are honored to be serving each church as we together serve our Lord in sharing the message of Salvation to each community. Your faithful financial support allows every church to have their ministry needs met so they can be more effective in reaching their community for the Lord. We are all One Church located in over 100 Locations serving and working Together in Ministry and in our Calling to deliver the Message of Christ Love to all.
Please reach out to us with your ministry needs as we are available to serve
you 24/7. We are a “Brotherhood of Churches”.

The Robertson Avenue Baptist Church Family would like to invite you, and anyone interested in missionary work to come meet Mr. Elijah Hall, Ethnos 360 Missionary to the Mbya People in Paraguay.
This question/answer session will be held at
FBC Academy on Monday, Oct.7th, @ 11:00 am.
The object of this meeting is to increase awareness of mission work and how church support helps a missionary family. In addition, Robertson Ave. would love to see our sister churches in the UBAT and Tri-Rivers Baptist Area support this mission in prayer and possibly more. This is an opportunity to open channels of communication, get to know and build relationships with a missionary family.
As churches support mission work through prayer, finances and communication, they will see missionaries answer God’s call come from their own congregations to serve our Living God!
FBC Academy is located at:
304 State Hwy 95,
Little River-Academy, TX 76554

Dear Texas Baptist (BGCT) Churches,
As you well know, the current property insurance environment for Texas Baptist churches is difficult at best, and dire for many. These circumstances have prompted the BGCT to explore potential solutions, including forming a captive insurance pool. Administered through a new corporation (yet to be formed) which will be under the control of the BGCT, the insurance pool would function much like a coop to provide insurance coverage for our churches.
We believe the benefits of this pool will include stable coverage, competitive rates and deductibles, stronger incentives, and more ministry investment. A feasibility study specifically for the Texas Baptists Insurance Program is currently underway and will be critical in determining our next steps.
If you would be interested in providing your church information for this insurance feasibility study, please send your contact information to your Director of Missions as he is compiling an interest list to be forwarded to Texas Baptist.
Once we receive your contact information, you will receive a request for basic insurance information that will only take a few minutes to complete. This information will be vital in setting up this new program and in partnering with us that will benefit both your church and our family of Texas Baptist churches.
If you want to study more about this program, the link below is a webinar BGCT conducted for Director of Missions across the state. We are excited about the possibilities the program holds.

Beginning August 1st you can complete your ACP in two easy ways:
-
The preferred way is to follow this link and complete the online version.
-
Your username is your BGCT ID followed by @txb.org (ex. 123456@txb.org)
-
If you do not remember your password, select Forgot Password or contact us at imt@texasbaptists.org
-
You can download a blank form on our website to fill out, print and return to Texas Baptists or to your association.
The deadline for returning the ACP will be November 30th.
Did you know that the ACP helps to...?
- Affirm that your church is active and with whom you are affiliated.
- Update current contact information for the your church.
- Gather and report statistics for the previous year.
- Update names and contact information for those in key leadership roles for the upcoming year.
- And much more!
Just a few short years ago there were over 150 questions on the ACP. In cooperation with the SBC we have worked to streamline the process and reduce the questions to make it easier on the churches.
Thank you for your participation each year in the ACP process. Your contributions help us all.
If you requested a personalized paper copy of the ACP last month, those are being printed and will be sent by the end of the month. If you have any questions, please contact

Hello, I'd like to share about our ministry so that congregations will know what we do and where to send those who need our help. We serve Coryell, Hamilton, Bosque, Lampasas, Bell, & McLennan counties.
I am willing to meet with pastors, elders, mission teams, or congregations. I can do a quick 5 minute spill or I can do an entire testimony. I'd also be willing to share a song or two if needed. I'm completely willing to accommodate whatever the churches needs are.
