“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” – 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
This past week, I was honored to travel, share, provide resources and encouragement to area churches, ministers and leadership. On Sunday, I traveled to four separate churches (Duffau Baptist Church, FBC Oglesby, Trinity Baptist Church and Live Oak Baptist Church) to Worship with a growing congregation, witness a Deacon Ordination, assist with Associational Bible Drills and attend a Choir Concert. On Saturday, I was honored to serve at the Tri-Rivers WMU Missions Gathering hosted at Adamsville Baptist Church where we saw a large group of attendee’s worship, fellowship, learn about missions and were encouraged through puppetry and prayed for our missionaries.
During the week, I was blessed to speak at FBC Llano during their Men’s Breakfast about how I survived (pronounced dead) from my fall off the summit of Mt. Fuji (Japan) that allowed me to be served so that I could serve the Lord today.
I never tire in my service to my Lord as I know that today could be the last day I can serve Him before He calls me home. My life, just like your life, has been extended for another day and it is that day that He gives you and me that we need to give back to Him. Life can be hard, and you may feel at times pressed, perplexed, persecuted, stuck down, but as the scripture above reminds us of is when we remain faithful in our service to our Lord that we will not be crushed, not be in despair, not be abandoned and cannot be destroyed. God is Good.
The Tri-Rivers Church Recovery Fund continues to grow as we assist area
churches who are struggling with their property insurance needs. In this
newsletter, we have shared the details on how the Church Recovery Fund will operate. Please view the Newsletter or website for more information and please complete the Church Property Insurance Survey in this newsletter if your church hasn’t already. Texas Baptist is also gathering information from
churches to investigate the possibility of providing insurance (see more on
this in this newsletter).
Please continue to view this Newsletter for Ministry Opportunities within the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area. It is our joy to serve all our area churches in meeting the various needs of the church and its leadership. We are honored to be serving each church as we together serve our Lord in sharing the message of Salvation to each community. Your faithful financial support allows every church to have their ministry needs met so they can be more effective in reaching their community for the Lord. We are all One Church located in over 118 Locations serving and working Together in Ministry and in our Calling to deliver the Message of Christ Love to all.
Please reach out to us with your ministry needs as we are available to serve you 24/7. We are a “Brotherhood of Churches”.

From one man He has made every nation of men to live all over the earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live, so that they might seek God... ~Acts 17:26-27a
We are the Church! Each of you are exactly where you need to be, at this exact time, so that you might seek God and tell others about the love of God. When I think about the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area, I think about all the places, all the people, who are part of God’s plan to reach this entire area with the Gospel of Jesus. Thank you for your faithfulness to love, to pray, and to share the love of Jesus right in your local area — where God has placed you.
