Hello All, I hope you all have had a excellent week filled with the hope and joy of the Lord. Please continue to pray for the people of Ukraine and support them in any way possible.

I am available to assist any of our area churches who need a guest worship leader or musician.

We are in need of Musicians, Worship Leaders, and Local Church Missionaries to serve in our area Churches. If you feel led to serve in this area, please contact your Area Office at or 254-865-1299.

Talon Keeney

Ministry Assistant

From Texas Baptist Men.

As I write this, it feels like the world sits on the edge of its collective seat, hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. Clouds of smoke and explosions dot the sky over Ukraine as Russia invades. Ukrainian families are surging into surrounding countries as they flee for safety. The situation is uncertain at best.

As the missiles were in the air, TBM leaders joined with more than 70 other Christian leaders from around the world to hear from a Ukrainian Baptist pastor still in the country. His bravery is amazing. His faith is inspiring. In the middle of all that is happening, he is still seeking to minister to those he can.

Today and during your Sunday worship services, I'm asking you to pray for Ukraine.

Please pray:

For Ukrainians. They are understandably scared. Yet, they remain hopeful for an end to this situation. Their faith is strong. For leaders around the world. Crucial decisions will be made in the coming days. Pray leaders have wisdom in those choices.

For Christian leaders in the nations surrounding Ukraine. As people flee into these nations, they will have significant needs. God, give churches there the heart and resources to meet those needs as Christ would. You can help meet the needs of Ukrainians through TBM.

Thanks to our longstanding partnership with the Baptist World Alliance, we can directly support the efforts of Christian ministries in Ukraine and the surrounding areas to meet needs in the name of Christ. But the window to do so is short.

On faith, TBM has committed to sending a significant amount of funds to Christians in the region. In this extremely fluid situation, the funds will be used for initiatives such as:

Food for families

Water for Ukrainians fleeing the conflict

Clothing for those who left their homes quickly with very little

In order to have the greatest impact possible, TBM will send the funds directly to where they are needed most.

When times are most difficult, the body of Christ must step up. In the days ahead, you can join hands with people around the globe to deliver help, hope and healing.

Thank you for joining me in prayer and action as together we serve.

We are excited to share that our latest resource is our online learning system featuring Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry which introduces learners to six essential characteristics emulating Jesus’ ministry:

  • Go deeper in intimacy with Christ
  • Pray with passion for God’s presence and power
  • Build leaders for in-depth and long-term ministry
  • Disciple students to move toward maturity in Christ
  • Penetrate the culture through relationships
  • Create outreach opportunities to reach students for Christ

While we still offer in-person training forums, we believe the addition of individualized online training will put this invaluable resource into the hands of many more people. Because we offer the training in English, Spanish, Russian, and Swahili, it will exponentially increase our reach.

We are building on our past to influence the future. And we are giving JFYMO away free to youth leaders during our introductory period. You can learn more by visiting

Youth leaders, parents, pastors and mentors please join me and other national ministry leaders in praying toward the largest evangelistic training event in 50 years June 24-25.

Plan to be a part of this incredible event if possible and also spread the word to other groups. TOGETHER ’22 will bring together groups of leaders and students from the Millennial and Gen Z generations nation wide who will be inspired and trained to reach their cities with the hope of Jesus.

The event will take place on June 24-25, 2022 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas 50 years after Explo ’72. Led by Bill Bright and Billy Graham. This event energized and equipped 70,000 ‘Jesus People’ at the Cotton Bowl Stadium, sparking the biggest revival in modern-day America. Our prayer is that this venue will again become the epicenter for revival in our time, lighting a new fire and training up a new generation of Jesus People.

Fires and floods can ruin everything a person owns in a few short hours. Learn how you can deliver help, hope and healing after these disasters.

Box Unit Training

Tri-Rivers Baptist Area is partnering with Restoration Advocates, Inc. as we continue to minister to victims of Domestic Violence.

Restoration Advocates exists to provide the care and support necessary for women, and their dependent children, who are victims of domestic violence and other dangers that place them at risk of life or physical harm and/or deprive them of their overall safety and sense of well-being. Our mission is for every woman in an unsafe home to have the confidence, as well as the resources, to independently support herself and her children.

To that end, we have established a safe haven called Restoration Place, where survivors of family violence can live in safety as they restore their lives to health and happiness. Restoration Place provides emergency housing for women and children in crisis and we also offer transitional housing for a period of up to two years if that is needed for the family to be fully independent and self-supporting. Learn More HERE
