Through our local partners, TBM continues to provide thousands of meals a day as war continues Israel and Gaza. People are dying and suffering across the region, and you are bringing:

  • Help by providing food for thousands who have been cut off from regular nutrition.
  • Hope by reminding the people we serve that even in a war-ravaged situation there are Christians in the far-off United States who offer spiritual and material support.
  • Healing through a relationship with Christ.

You are part of the critical prayer network that is undergirding everything God is seeking to do through TBM in Israel. Our volunteers speak of feeling this prayer support. If you've ever been the recipient of committed prayer support, you know that feeling. It is hard to express, but Philippians 4:5-7 expresses it for us.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (NIV).

God promised His peace and provides it. God promised that in the midst of the world's travails, He will guard our hearts and minds in Christ.

Pray deeply. Pray often. And hold onto God's promises. This week, pray specifically for:

  • God to raise up and prepare TBM volunteers for the next team.
  • God to help TBM and its Israeli partners to know best how to expand capacity.
  • God to use these terrible circumstances to point people to Christ, the Redeemer.
  • God to move among the millions of Israelis and Palestinians to bring peace to the region.

In case you missed it last week: A lot of people have asked me what serving in Israel looks like. Let me invite you to watch this video to see it in action. Hopefully, it provides a glimpse of how this ministry works.

Thank you for continuing to lift up the Israeli and Palestinian people and TBM volunteers. God is working, and you are a vital part of His work.

Prayerfully,

Mickey Lenamon

My name is Vitalii Filonov.

I’m 39 years old Ukrainian and my wife Marta is 36 Polish. I have a bachelor's degree in theology. We have three children - Natan (9), Kaleb (6) and Benjamin (4).  Our home church is Chojnice Baptist Church in Poland. For the last 15 years we’ve been serving together with our mission organization - International Messengers https://internationalmessengers.org/ in various locations across the world including Uganda and Peru. For the two last years we’ve been serving in Turkey and Lebanon. Since the earthquake in Southeast of Turkey that happened in February 2023 and resulted in tenth of thousands dead and hundreds of thousands displaced, we concentrated on earthquake relief work in the cities Antioch and Samandag in the province of Hatay, Turkey. God is doing an amazing work here and we are glad and humbled to be a part of this work.

We have just renewed our residency for another year and now we believe it’s a time to move from Istanbul where we’re lived for the past two years to the earthquake affected zone. Since we have started the work in Hatay, Turkey we were able to establish a very good relationships with the families there and now we want to move to live near them to be able to gather with them regularly.

To be able to move there and to serve there we need to buy a van. This is the reason that we plan to come to the US this coming November-December, to share about what’s happening in Turkey and to try to raise the money for the vehicle. We also need a lot of prayer support, so we hope to connect with the believers in the US and encourage them to pray for Turkey and our ministry here.

They will in the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area the first two weeks of December and would love to connect with various pastors or churches in the area. You can reach Vitalii at +48 507 278 003.

Adult Conference Center - Projected Opening Date: January 1, 2024

To achieve that we desperately need some volunteer help.

We need help putting the bed box frames together, hanging towel racks, clothing racks, etc. We could use help with painting, touch up painting. "staging" the rooms.

If you happened to have anybody that is good at taping and floating, that would be helpful as well.

We are excited to share that our latest resource is our online learning system featuring Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry which introduces learners to six essential characteristics emulating Jesus’ ministry:

  • Go deeper in intimacy with Christ
  • Pray with passion for God’s presence and power
  • Build leaders for in-depth and long-term ministry
  • Disciple students to move toward maturity in Christ
  • Penetrate the culture through relationships
  • Create outreach opportunities to reach students for Christ

While we still offer in-person training forums, we believe the addition of individualized online training will put this invaluable resource into the hands of many more people. Because we offer the training in English, Spanish, Russian, and Swahili, it will exponentially increase our reach.

We are building on our past to influence the future. And we are giving JFYMO away free to youth leaders during our introductory period. You can learn more by visiting JFYMO.com
