July 25, 2015

The hazy, lazy days of summer are upon us, but at the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity, activities are bustling.  The concrete entranceway has been repaired, new landscaping in front of the Library has been completed and the summer reading programs for all ages are zooming along with the August 8th conclusion date rapidly approaching.  A laptop computer and a camera are now ready to be borrowed by Memorial Library card holders as well as new DVDs, audio books and books.  Through the generosity of a Dollar General Summer Reading Program grant, new Playaways (pre-loaded MP-3 audio book players) and books can be borrowed from the children's room.

Fall programs are being planned. We already have a blood drive scheduled for September 19th and our very popular Touch a Truck will be held on October 3rd.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Library!

Landscaping Gives Library New Look

Our new landscaping is complete!  Thanks to the generosity of Natalie Paul, the Library has beautiful landscaping by its entrance - shrubs, trees, plants, and coming soon, English garden chairs.
