INCOMING CSG WEST VICE CHAIR SELECTED
Each year the CSG West Nominating Committee considers and recommends applicants to serve as officers of the organization. At this year's Annual Meeting, Idaho Representative Clark Kauffman, upon the recommendation of the Nominating Committee, was elected by the Executive Committee to serve as vice chair in 2020, to rotate to the position of chair in 2022. We offer our congratulations to Representative Kauffman on his election as an officer of CSG West and look forward to working with him in the coming years.

SUICIDE PREVENTION RESOURCE CENTER REPORT
At this year's CSG West Annual Meeting the National Suicide Prevention Resource Center unveiled its completed report titled " Recommendations for State Suicide Prevention Infrastructure. "  Recognizing the critical role of states in shifting from crisis response to prevention, the Resource Center's Advisory Panel compiled these recommendations from over a year of meetings with nationwide stakeholders. The recommendations are to be used by state governors, legislators, suicide prevention coordinators and coalitions, and communities to create effective state suicide prevention programs.  For further information or questions, please contact Julie Ebin (jebin@edc.org) at the Suicide Prevention Resource Center .
