Share feedback about Title VI program updates

The Transit Equity Office updates RTD's Title VI Program every three years to ensure compliance with federal regulations and promote equitable access to transit services. As part of this process, the office is seeking community feedback on proposed updates to three key policies: the Major Service Change Policy, the Low-Income Definition, and the Fare Equity Policy. Your input will help shape these policies and guide the Title VI Program update.

Meeting winter's demands

Safety tip: Stay safe in your home during a winter storm

  • Use care with space heaters and fireplaces to prevent fires. Keep anything that could catch fire at least 3 feet from the heat.
  • Avoid using candles due to fire risk. Use battery-powered lights and flashlights instead.
  • Prevent carbon monoxide poisoning by installing a detector in your home. Place carbon monoxide detectors on each floor of a home.
  • Avoid carbon monoxide poisoning that can occur during power outages when using other means to heat and cook. Use only generators, grills and camp stoves outdoors and away from windows.
  • Know the danger signs of carbon monoxide to avoid risk of death. If you start to feel sick, dizzy or weak, get to fresh air right away – do not delay.
  • Prevent carbon monoxide poisoning and home fires by never heating a home with a cooking oven or stove.
