Making great progress on
Casa Belvedere's Upper Levels
|
|
The Italian Cultural Foundation is tremendously grateful for the in-kind donations of Anthony & Carlo Seneca of C&A Seneca Construction, who are generously providing skilled labor and project management for the final phase of this decade-long project.
We are also very grateful to the following generous in-kind donors:
Chris Dariak of Demar Plumbing Corp.
Robert Nappi and Nicholas Assini of Five Borough Electric
John DeAmicis of Lighting Design Associates
Status: In addition to the Stair Tower/Elevator extension completion,
work continues daily on the second and third floors’ build-out.
The anticipated and realistic completion of the upper levels is by May 2022, and we are scheduled to open the 2nd floor to members in June 2022!
|
|
Upon completion, the second floor will be available to all members for additional dining options, including the second floor Terrace (with amazing views), conference rooms, and space for members to host large or small special events.

Further beautification of
Casa Belvedere's grounds
|
|
Cherry Blossom Trees, Multi-tiered Nonno's Garden,
and Outdoor Classroom Space
|
|
This past summer, 40 cherry trees were donated and planted by
NYC Materials for the Arts. Also, sod was planted around the cherry trees to
capture rainwater and prevent erosion. In the Spring of 2022, the trees will be in full bloom, further beautifying our grounds and our already spectacular view!
Special thanks to Nick D’Amato and sons for their generous contribution
of labor and materials to make this happen!
|
|
Nonno’s Garden produced an abbondanza of beautiful vegetables and herbs in 2021. Special thanks to our devoted volunteers, led by Carmen DeVito, volunteer lead designer and founder of GardenCult.com.
Also, Cosmo Romeo, Joe Carlone, Noreen Eskanzi, Anna Pallotta, Gabrielle Pallotta, Maria Peterson,
Bobby Regeiro, Ella Rizzo, and Angela Romeo.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to
helping Nonno's Garden thrive!
