Continuing a Family Tradition of Service to Our Community

This summer, the EHHF is fortunate to have a familiar name helping out in our administrative office in the East Hampton Healthcare Center. At just 16, John Henry Murray, son of Board Member Stuart J. Murray and grandson of our late Board Chairman Henry L. Murray, has been lending a hand with mailings, organization, and other day-to-day tasks. John Henry represents the third generation of the Murray family to contribute to our mission of supporting healthcare in our community. We are delighted to have him with us this summer and proud to see the Murray family’s longstanding commitment to the Foundation continue with the next generation.

August is Civic Health Month

To mark Civic Health Month, the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island, and the North Fork held a voter registration drive on August 11 in the lobby of the East Hampton Healthcare Center, co-sponsored by the EHHF. Civic Health Month highlights the link between voting and health with activities to ensure each and every voter has the opportunity to support and improve their community’s health at the ballot box.
