Richard Ray – Director of Missions Weekly Update
We have had several pastors, staff and their families dealing with Covid, please be in prayer for one another for health and healing. Continue to pray for those serving in the medical field and our first responders.
This past week also brought opportunities to serve our Area Churches in the areas of: Search Committee's, Pulpit Supply, BSM, Administrative Assistance, background checks and Ministry Resources, while also providing the daily ministry needs of our Churches and Ministry Partners.
This past week, we attended the North Fort Hood Ministry Meeting, worked with search committee's as they seek their next pastor, prepared the Tri-Rivers Retreat Center for upcoming retreats, attended the Latham Springs Encampment Board Meeting and on Sunday I preached at FBC Gatesville followed by attending the Coryell Baptist Association Meeting hosted by FBC Oglesby.
This week, I will again be working with church search committees, meeting with area pastors and church leaderships, preparing for the upcoming ministry training opportunities and on Sunday, I will be blessed to preach at Littleville Baptist Church in Hamilton followed by attending the Hamilton Baptist Association Meeting hosted at FBC Hico.
