Vallejo Firefighters Save A Life


The City of Vallejo proudly recognized three Vallejo Fire Department members at this week's City Council Meeting, Engineer Trujillo, Firefighter Bullock, and Firefighter Runyon, for their lifesaving response to a resident in cardiac arrest. Thanks to their swift, decisive actions on April 9, 2026, a community member is alive today. We honor their professionalism, dedication, and outstanding service to Vallejo.

The Vallejo Sister City Delegation visits Ensenada, Mexico


Vallejo and Ensenada officially became Sister Cities in 2024, and last month, a delegation from Vallejo traveled south to strengthen this new partnership.

Admiral Callaghan Lane Reopens


Admiral Callaghan Lane northbound, between Rotary Way and Turner Parkway, officially reopened for two‑way traffic on Wednesday, July 15. Crews needed extra time to complete critical grading, street enhancements, and bridge expansion work. Addtional work is still needed to allow for two lanes in both directions. Please drive cautiously through the area due to ongoing construction and shifting lanes.
