On Tuesday, July 28, the City Council voted to appoint me as Vallejo’s permanent City Manager. I want to express my sincere gratitude to both the Council and our community for their trust and confidence. I am committed to helping guide Vallejo forward and supporting our city in reaching its full potential as one of the true jewels of the Bay Area. My team and I will continue working diligently to implement the Council’s policies and goals, while attracting and retaining the talent needed to achieve them.

9/11 Memorial Bike Ride Visits Vallejo
On Sunday, August 2, a team of retired and active firefighters will arrive in Vallejo as the first overnight stop on their nearly 3,300-mile ride from Santa Clara, California, to New York City. The riders will arrive at Ground Zero on the morning of September 11, where they will pay tribute to the 343 FDNY firefighters and countless others who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks.
