John R. Lawrence Pioneer Park Project with Suzi K. Edwards
Suzi K. Edwards is an accomplished mosaic artist with works across the United States ranging from private to public applications up to $100,000.00. Suzi developed the theme “Below the Wall”, a concept depicted in the mosaic murals installed on the knee walls show a variety of Dunedin-centric images -- people and activities from "the knees down" -- a ball player sliding into base, the legs of beach goers walking on sand, the kilt, shoes and socks of a Scottish lass and lad, and more. The colorful images were hand crafted, designed, painted, and kiln fired tiles made by Suzi in her studio. The field tiles used are a mix of colorful 1” tiles.

The mosaic public art application is now complete in Pioneer Park, with an artist recognition scheduled for March 10 at 3 p.m. Be sure to stop by and see these new pieces of Dunedin’s Public Art Collection.

Dunedin Celebrates FL Bike Month
Dunedin is celebrating Florida Bike Month with a fun and educational event in collaboration with FDOT, Forward Pinellas, Pinellas County, and Bike/Walk Tampa Bay.
We will be located next to Eli’s Bar-B-Que, off the trail. Say hi and get some delicious food and cool merch while learning bike safety from our experts. Pinellas County Sheriff's Office will be giving away children's helmets while supplies last.
No Grease Down the Drain
Pouring cooking fats, oils, and greases down the drain can cause severe and expensive pipe blockages. Grease poured down the drain causes costly plumbing problems, resulting in sewer backups, blockages, and sewer overflows. You can reuse the grease or place it in a container in a plastic bag and dispose of it in your garbage can.
