When did your business begin? How was it created?
The Johnston County Visitors Bureau was formed in 1987 by enabling occupancy tax legislation and exists to market and develop Johnston County (JoCo) as a destination for economic growth and quality of place.
What is the main purpose of your organization?
Championing business opportunities for the visitor industry and county communities.
What is your favorite part about being in the Triangle East region?
Our rural, natural assests like farms, forests, parks, and the Neuse River, as well as the entrepreneurial spirit of those who live and work in JoCo.
