The WFM is a producers-only, non-profit organization. It was established to provide a venue to sell farm-fresh, seasonal produce, and specialty items to the Waxhaw area. Shopping at our market is a great way to support local agriculture, promote sustainable farming practices, and enjoy fresh and delicious food.

Radishes are root vegetables known for their crisp texture and peppery flavor. They come in various shapes, sizes, and colors, including red, pink, white, and even black.

Culinary Uses:

Salads: Thinly sliced or julienned for a crunchy, peppery addition.
Pickles: Quick-pickled radishes add a tangy crunch to sandwiches and tacos.
Roasted: Roasting brings out a sweeter flavor, great as a side dish.
Soups and Stews: Daikon radish is often used in soups for its mild, earthy taste
