We are motivated and proud of our success! Thank you to our supporters who make our work* possible:

• 6,991 dental services provided with a value of $487,600**
• 774 children received preventive treatments during 1,325 visits
• 763 children had 1,137 fluoride varnish application treatments
• 747 children received 1,029 cleanings
• 380 children had untreated decay
• 9% of children had urgent dental needs and 18% had non-urgent needs
• 443 children had 1,761 permanent molars sealed
• A total of 1,988 teeth were sealed
• 212 teeth had arrested decay with silver diamine flouride
• 353 children had 1,320 teeth treated with silver diamine fluoride
• 154 children had 390 temporary fillings placed

Ready, Set, Smile thanks The Nara Fund, Inc. for their generous $17,000 match! This challenge grant helped us with financial support while energizing us to reach out to new donors. We sincerely thank The Nara Fund for their gift, along with all the amazing donors who responded to the call.

What's ahead? 

We're happy to report that we are back to pre-pandemic production! The kids needs us now, more than ever. We have 29 in-school clinics targeted for the first half of the upcoming school year, August - December, 2022. You can see our full calendar here. 

Volunteers Needed

Our plates are full and we're very happy about that. We need volunteers to help us at up-coming school open houses and in-school dental clinics. You can see our full clalendar here. You can sign-up here to be a volunteer. We provide training for general and professional volunteers. We also offer gift cards for volunteers and we promise you'll enjoy time with our staff and meeting the children and families that we serve. 

Special shout-out to our wonderful supporters who recently stepped-up to volunteer, including Stephanie, Patricia, Betsy, Ed, Dar, Javier and Dale. 

In June we celebrated the RSS Team and all the great accomplishments achieved this year.

In late June, 2022 we had our Staff Appreciation event at Tiny Diner (supportng a local community business). 11 of our 15 Team members were able to join us. (See photo above.) Each member of our Team was individually recognized for their contributions and strengths. Bravo to them - they work hard and they make the world a better place.
