Paradise Valley United Methodist Church
Summer Worship
Beginning July 1, we moved from three services to TWO, just for the summer months. Now through September 2, we invite you to worship at our 9:30 or 11 am Sunday services. The earliest service at 8 am will be back after Labor Day on September 9.
Pastor's Message

  Dear Friend in Faith,

We continue our worship series, “God on Film,” focused on some popular summer films and how we notice God and spiritual themes in the movies.

The movie we’ll be looking at in our Film and Faith sermon series is Ready Player One, an action-packed movie about people who live most of their lives in a virtual video game world. It’s a place that is filled with dazzling lights and glittering prizes for anyone that has the smarts (or the money) to find them. You can check out the trailer...

Say Goodbye to Tommy Sunday
PVUMC says goodbye to Tommy Strawser, who resigned on July 9, 2018. You're invited to join us in worship this Sunday or next to say goodbye in person and express your thanks and good wishes for his continued success. As Assistant Director of Music and Ignite Worship Leader, Tommy has contributed much to our music ministry. He will be missed.
Sunday Worship at PVUMC
Paradise Valley United Methodist Church (PVUMC) invites you to worship with us this summer at 9:30 am in the sanctuary and at 11 am in the chapel. Download the 9:30 am bulletin here. The Ignite service at 11 am is bulletin-free!

See the website at pvumc.org/calendar for all our children's, youth and adult classes meeting on Sunday mornings, during the week and all summer long.

The NEW Seven Weeks of Summer Looking Ahead includes our calendar from July 1-August 18 as well as highlights of upcoming events and programs during July. Look for an updated version in August when we'll advertise our kick-offs for youth and children.

Journeys Small Groups at PVUMC
Just because it’s summer, it doesn’t mean the church closes down. We continue to ignite faith, transform lives and create community, and you’re invited to journey with us.  Journeys, small groups at pvumc, continue year round. In this more relaxed
season, there may be fewer opportunities, but there are still many choices. Pick up a guidebook on Sunday or download it here and talk to a friend about joining you on a new journey this summer.
