ArrowBrooke Projects

🏊 (IN-PROGRESS) Gathering Place Enchancements - Fresh new projects are coming to both Gathering Places, including retiling the GP1 pool lining and restaining all wood structures at both amenities!

🌊 (IN-PROGRESS) Irrigation Well Repairs – Over the next few weeks, contractors will be working hard to restore the well, helping to keep our irrigation system running strong.

💦 (IN-PROGRESS) Fountain Relocation – Say goodbye to dry ponds! To bring back the beauty of our community’s water features, two fountains from the 1385 pond will be relocated—one to each pond on the north side of ArrowBrooke Ave. One fountain will remain in the 1385 pond.

💪 (IN-PROGRESS) Fitness Park Makeover – A fresh update is coming to the Fitness Park! The old, worn-out landscaping bed on the east side will be removed, irrigation will be adjusted, and new sod will be installed to create a clean, low-maintenance look. Work is expected to start after the new landscape contractor begins in April.

The association is also reviewing additional projects to enhance the community, including fence repairs and staining along ArrowBrooke Ave, pool repairs, landscaping improvements, and fountain replacements. More updates will be shared as these projects progress.

Wildlife Precautions

Dealing with wildlife can sometimes be difficult, but here are a few things you can do to stay safe:

  • Protect your pets. Always walk dogs on a leash and do not allow cats to roam free outdoors. Do not leave pets unattended outdoors.
  • Vaccinate pets. Wildlife may transmit diseases to cats and dogs.
  • Teach children about natural wildlife in the area, wildlife behavior, and that they should leave wildlife alone. Make it a fun, educational moment by researching wildlife in the area together!
  • Trim back vegetation and clean up brushy areas or woodpiles in your yard. Remove food sources like fallen fruit and pet food.
  • Keep trash in a secure container.
  • Immediately report sightings of wildlife that appear to be injured or approaching humans. Denton County Animal Control at 940-349-7594.
  •  Make noise if you see a bobcat or coyote. Yell or clap loudly to scare wildlife away; carry something with you to make noise when outdoors.
