Viking 68 Convertible

The Viking 68 Convertible isn’t just a standout in our lineup – it’s a proven performer with a layout and features that set it apart from everything in its class. The 68 in this Viking View has immediate availability. The exterior makes a statement with Viking’s unmistakable profile, a Kingston Grey gelcoat and a faux teak toe rail.

Step into the cockpit and you’ll find a tournament-ready layout with a Release Marine Trillion Series fighting chair, teak cockpit and mezzanine and air conditioning above the seating. You have dual Eskimo ice machines – one discharges into a cockpit sole fishbox, the other into a mezzanine box. A power-actuated hatch lifts to reveal the Seakeeper 26.

On the flybridge, a walkaround console – with flush-mounted displays and a Release Marine teak helm pod – anchors the space, complemented by upgraded Trillion helm chairs. The forward lounge is the place to be, especially with its air-conditioned backrest. It all adds up to a comfortable and purpose-built flybridge with excellent visibility, state-of-the-art electronics and ample seating and storage. The boat is also designed and built for an omni sonar system.

Horizontal-grain high-gloss walnut sets the tone in the salon, along with custom barstools, a hidden pop-up HDTV and recessed lighting. The walkaround galley features high-end quartz surfaces with soft white tones and flowing gray veining — an example of premium materials paired with thoughtful design.

Each of the four staterooms has its own private head, including the full-beam master with ample storage and molded crown accents.

A private staircase leads to the crew quarters with direct entry to the engineroom – also reachable from the cockpit.

The engineroom is the best in the business – bright, open with excellent headroom and full walkaround access. Power comes from MTU Series 2000 V12 M96X engines. Twin 29kW Onan generators provide dependable onboard electricity. The Spot Zero combo system delivers purified freshwater and desalinated water in one integrated unit, while the ElectroSea system automatically keeps seawater cooling lines clear and running efficiently. Add in the Willy Vac and upgraded pumps and you’ve got a mechanical space that’s designed and built for clean operation, easy access and optimal system performance.

This bad boy is such a proven model that we’ve used a half dozen 68s as our demo boats. And another one – not this boat – will fish the White Marlin Open and The MidAtlantic this August, continuing a legacy shaped by real-world competition. The boat comes turnkey-ready with a custom Palm Beach Towers tuna tower and a full AME electronics package – both Viking in-house subsidiaries.
