Trinity Trumpeter | January 2, 2026 | | Living On Purpose in 2026 | | |
As we step into 2026, our hearts at Trinity United Methodist Church are overflow with gratitude. Reflecting on 2025, we are humbled by the countless ways God blessed our church family. Through moments of worship that drew us closer to Him, opportunities to welcome new faces into our community, acts of service that made an eternal impact, and the growth of discipleship that nurtured faith in every age. Every challenge, every celebration, every shared prayer was a reminder of God’s faithful presence among us.
Looking ahead, our theme for 2026 is “On Purpose.” This theme is more than a guiding phrase, it is a call to intentional living in every part of our church life. Every act of worship, every effort to welcome others, every moment spent in discipleship and outreach is done on purpose. This year, we are challenged to Align. Build. Commit. Align our lives with the Holy Spirit, Build our trust in God, and Commit to the vision Christ has for our lives.
The scripture guiding us this year is Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” This verse reminds us that when our plans, actions, and intentions are rooted in Christ, God faithfully leads the way. In 2026, we invite you to live intentionally—not just going through the motions, but engaging fully in God’s mission for our lives and our church.
As we embrace this new year, let’s do so with purpose, gratitude, and hope. Together, let’s make 2026 a year of intentional faith, loving action, and transformative discipleship.
Align. Build. Commit. Let’s do 2026 on purpose and watch God move!
