FALL ATHLETICS (some teams start in Grade 4)
There is still time to join a sports team at ISI. If you are interested, please reach out to the head coach of each sport . Our Fall sports include Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Boys High School Tennis, Coed Middle School Tennis, and Cross Country. Fall sports began in August and will end in early October.

Grade 4 students are invited to participate in Middle School sports as long as numbers allow this to happen. This is a great way to get them ready to join as a Grade 5 student. Coaches will make attempts to play our younger players in matches when appropriate. Cross Country allows Grade 4 students to participate fully.

Student-athletes from our 49 th Street Campus can use our shuttle bus that leaves after school and will deliver the players to our Blackwell Campus where we will match them up with their sport in the gym. If you want your student to use the shuttle after school, your child will need to be registered.

Sports schedules are available on the  athletics website .

We’ve adopted a format that allows you to participate in the sessions that best fit your needs and schedule. To make the most of your time with your child's teacher, we recommend placing your child in childcare or leaving them at home for this event.

For your convenience, we are offering two sessions of our Back to School Night formal programming for families with students 3-year-old - Grade 5.
  • Session One
  • 5:00-5:30 p.m.
  • Session Two
  • 5:30-6:00 p.m.

Grade 4 and Grade 5 English and Language teachers will be hosting a Back to School Night Open House in their classrooms from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Parents are welcome to come in and out at any time.

We have added an optional ManageBac training session for parents who would like help figuring out how to use the system. It will be immediately following the Lower School Back to School night at 6:00-6:30 p.m., in the 49th Street Building Gym.
