LOWER SCHOOL GRADE 4 BRADFORD WOODS TRIP
Our Grade 4 students will spend three days and two nights at Bradford Woods Camp in Martinsville, IN. Teachers and students will participate in many fun outdoor activities and learning experiences related to the Unit of Study.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Travel Auction is our largest event and 2019 will mark the 25th anniversary year for this signature fundraiser. We are seeking volunteers to take on a variety of roles, ranging from event chairs, committee chairs, to committee members helping with event planning, marketing, silent and live auction procurement, and cultivation and solicitation of sponsors.
If you are interested in volunteering for the 2019 Travel Auction we invite you to complete the 2019 Travel Auction Volunteer Interest Indicator .

NBC NEWS DIRECTOR VISITING GRADE 5 TODAY
WTHR-TV Channel 13 News Director, Jeff Rosetti, will be presenting to the Grade 5 class tomorrow as part of their "How We Express Ourselves - Media" unit. Mr Rosetti will be exploring with the students how journalists decide what is "real" news and how to make good consumer choices.

ENRICHMENT BILLING COMPLETE/FAMILY ENRICHMENT STATEMENTS AVAILABLE
Now that Enrichment classes are underway we will begin billing each family. You may pick up your Family Enrichment Statement from the childcare check out desk at the 49th Street Building any afternoon or email  Kim Rose  to have your statement emailed to you. Billing will be included on your October tuition statement under the line item "Enrichment."
Athletics
SCORES:
Boys Varsity Tennis beat Shortridge High School 3-2. Our wins were at positions 1 singles (Jackson Payton), 2 singles (Haru Yamamoto), and 3 singles (Alp Alptekin). Emiliano Avila Guevara also picked up a singles win. 
Last night Girls Varsity Cross Country competed in the Sheridan Invite at Sheridan High School. The girls came home with the Individual and Team Champion trophies. Congrats to the Gryphon ladies on their first ever team win at an Invitational. Results: Claire Kaneshiro 1st, Enma Tur Llobell 4th, Lindsey Nickel 12th, Juliet Vasey 15th, Dilhara Moonesinghe 16th, Lynn Zhong 26th, Emily Chao 27th, and Candice Zhou 28th. Teams competing against ISI included Clinton Central, University, Taylor, Sheridan, Lafayette Central Catholic, Christel House Academy.
