It's Madness

Our friends at Marlin magazine invite you to the Big Dance – fishing style! This fleet isn’t scoring points in the paint, but we might see a diaper dandy emerge. Marlin Madness is comprised of the most elite sportfishing yachts, spanning four regions. You pick what boat advances in each of the five rounds. Choose a region, select your favorite Viking and enter your email to vote. You can vote once per round in each of the four divisions. Help us bring the W to the Viking fleet! Although Viking is repping all four regions, it looks like the Gulf bracket is going to be a slugfest! Vote in each bracket every round to help our teams move forward.

More than 70 teams battled in South Florida waters over two days for a piece of the seven-figure purse during Jimmy Johnson’s “Quest for the Ring” Championship Fishing Week. Standing on the podium was the Viking 90 team, Just Chillin. Captain Matt Alligood led the crew to 10 sailfish releases for the title of 3rd Place Big Boat.

Benny Mesika, fishing on the Viking 61 Real Deal, weighed the 2nd Heaviest Fish of the tournament, a 31-pound king mackerel. The Master Angler and Top Female Angler awards went to Ona Alpert for her seven sailfish releases. Ona was fishing on the Viking 48 Fish On.
