A groundbreaking new life sciences campus will soon join the thriving Sorrento Mesa STEM community. Once completed, the $650 million Pacific Center will deliver 500,000 rentable square feet of purpose-built lab space with progressive architecture and premium amenities.

Alongside its impressive scale and amenities, the Gensler-designed campus will strongly emphasize sustainability. Fully electric labs that will eliminate the need for fossil fuel-powered systems and reduce carbon emissions; mass timber—which sequesters carbon dioxide and has lower embodied energy than concrete and steel—will be used to construct the amenity center; and the parking structure will feature a solar-paneled rooftop.
