Don't miss out on a fun, literacy-filled summer and pre-register for our annual Summer Learning program today!

The San José Public Library (SJPL) invites readers of all ages to expand their knowledge over the summer by reading and learning more. There are also some pretty cool prizes to win in different age categories.

The Library's Summer Learning program runs from June 1 to July 31.

Our Summer Learning program is geared to keep students learning and reading at the appropriate grade level when school is not in session. Reading during the summer months will keep students prepared to learn when they go back to school. Some of the benefits to reading include but are not limited to growing their vocabulary, developing empathy, and gaining confidence.
