Earlier this year, a team consisting of Amerisure's Underwriting, Special Risk, Claims, and Risk Management plus an agency partner earned the business of a leading manufacturing account.

This account was controlled by another insurance carrier for over 25 years. The carrier recently experienced excessive underwriter turnover, and the producer was worried how stable of a home they would be for the future. Amerisure had been working hard to position itself as a “go-to” manufacturing market for the policyholder; therefore, the agency customer gave Amerisure an exclusive shot at taking over the account.

Together, with the help of Amerisure's Field Marketing & Underwriting, Corporate Underwriting, and Risk Management teams, we were able to understand the distinct challenges of the policyholder's property and products exposures. By bringing in the Amerisure team and making our best efforts during their Risk Management survey, coupled with a competitive quote, Amerisure showed the policyholder we were the right carrier for their needs and would deliver on our promise.
