environmental education made easy

Ahhh...summer! It's time for cool drinks, dips in the pool, vacations, and conferences!

We're ready to dive into our first summer conference! The Indiana Recycling Coalition Conference is here in Indianapolis, June 12-14. I'm eager to hear what the speakers have to say about topics such as:
  • Sustainable Packaging Leadership in a Circular Economy,
  • "Repurposing": A New Frontier in Landfill Diversion, and
  • National Industry and Policy Trends - Impacts of elections, markets, and more!
We always come away from conferences with up-to-date information to share with our clients and readers. And speaking of clients, we enjoy the opportunity to meet with you at conferences, too!  If you are in Indianapolis, we hope you will stop by our booth to meet our new summer intern, Vic Roe. Get to know him in the article below.

Summer is also a good time to assess how you educate your community about your solid waste management practices as you prepare for next year. Eco Partners can help you develop a plan to keep your residents informed. Please call or email me; we would love to work with you!

Dive in and keep recycling all summer long!

Eco Partners
Meet Our Summer Intern
Welcome to Vic Roe, who is working as an intern for Eco Partners this summer. He will provide administrative and marketing support, as well as research assistance. Vic is a rising senior at Indiana University in Bloomington with majors in Psychology and Sociology. He is a past recipient of the SWANA Hoosier Chapter Scholarship and a SWANA member.

At IU, Vic has worked as a mentor for the College Internship Program, which administers behavior modification plans for young adults with high-functioning Autism, and served as a research assistant in the Socially Situated Cognitions Lab. He brings this knowledge of applied psychology and sociology to the work we do at Eco Partners to motivate residents and improve recycling behaviors.

Many of you are familiar with Vic since he has grown up around Eco Partners. He's taken care of many tasks behind the scenes over the years, from testing versions of Trash Talk! activities to helping prepare marketing materials for conferences.

In his spare time, Vic practices and teaches yoga at Vibe.

Eco Partners helps you deliver local environmental educational information

cost-effectively and efficiently.

We do all the heavy lifting. You get all the credit!
