Volunteer New York!'s Board Boot Camp is a dynamic 2.5 hour training that equips you with the skills and knowledge to serve on a nonprofit board and gives you a chance to ask questions.

During this interactive session, you’ll:

✅ Gain insight into how nonprofits and boards operate.

✅ Apply your leadership skills to support causes you care about.

After Nonprofit Board Boot Camp, you'll be invited to Nonprofit Board Speed Dating, where you will meet with multiple nonprofits seeking board members. These mini "dates" will be the start of a conversation to you joining a board.

During Nonprofit Board Speed Dating, you'll:

✅ Connect with nonprofits seeking engaged, skilled board members.

✅ Learn more about organizations and ask questions to deepen your understanding about their mission.
