If you are 12-24 years old and looking for a summer work experience, check out WorkReady Summer. It’s a program in July-August for youth living in Philadelphia. This summer, WorkReady experiences will include safe in-person participation at least 3 days a week.
WorkReady experiences are paid! All participants receive compensation via wages or incentives depending on the program.
HOW TO GET STARTED
1. Apply at workready.org
You will receive instructions by email after you apply. Keep your application password handy!

If you already know which program you want, enter their referral code on your application.

If you aren't connected to a WorkReady program partner, you can find a code for one of our programs using our PROGRAM LOCATOR.
2. Gather your paperwork
Like any job, WorkReady requires paperwork. Make sure you have vital documents ready in case you are selected. For example, you may be asked for: social security card, valid ID card, birth certificate, or work permit.

The documents you need will vary by your age and your experience. For more info, visit workready.org.
3. Upload your paperwork if invited
Check your email for an invitation to upload your paperwork to your online application using a computer or mobile device. Not every applicant who completes Step 1 will be selected for WorkReady.

Once you’ve completed these steps, your WorkReady program partner will email you with details about starting your program.
