August 4-6


GCPC 2026 is bringing together advancement professionals from across the country for three days of collaboration, learning, and inspiration. Attendees will participate in keynote presentations, hands-on workshops, peer-led breakout sessions, and in-depth product demonstrations designed to utilize the GiveCampus platform, strengthen fundraising strategies, and create comprehensive engagement campaigns. The conference also offers valuable networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect with colleagues and exchange ideas with peers from across the advancement community.

Capitol Hill Ocean Week 2026


Capitol Hill Ocean Week 2026, hosted by National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, brought together policymakers, scientists, nonprofit leaders, industry experts, and advocates from across the country for one of the nation's premier conferences focused on ocean policy, conservation, and the blue economy. The multi-day event featured keynote presentations, expert panel discussions, and networking opportunities in a setting designed to foster collaboration and meaningful dialogue. Capital Arts Collective and Capital Harvest on the Plaza (CHoP)

 

Make the most of Wednesdays in August on Wilson Plaza, where Capital Harvest on the Plaza (CHoP) and the Capital Arts Collective (CAC) continue to bring fresh flavors, local creativity, and community together from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. each week. Browse seasonal produce, specialty foods, handcrafted goods, and one-of-a-kind products from a rotating lineup of local farmers, small businesses, and regional artisans. Whether you're picking up lunch, shopping local, or simply enjoying time outdoors, Wilson Plaza is the place to be this summer.

Live! Concert Series on the Plaza Continues!
