This summer, music returns to Wilson Plaza with the highly anticipated Live! Concert Series on the Plaza, bringing free lunchtime entertainment to the downtown DC community. Weekdays from July 13 through September 25 the Live! stage will feature an exciting lineup of talented local performers showcasing a wide variety of musical genres including Go-Go, jazz, reggae, salsa, bluegrass, country, pop rock, and more. We invite you to swing by on your lunch break or take a break from sightseeing to experience live music, from noon-1pm, in the heart of DC all summer long.

Kuwait-America Do The Write Thing Recognition Dinner

This month, the Kuwait-America Foundation will bring Do The Write Thing to #RRBITC, a longstanding educational initiative focused on empowering young voices and addressing the impact of youth violence in communities across the United States. As part of the program, participants visit Washington, DC for the National Recognition Summit, which culminates in the formal Recognition Dinner where National Student Ambassadors from across the country will gather for an inspiring evening and take center stage to share their personal stories and written reflections through a powerful presentation highlighting their experiences and perspectives.
