Business Continuity During Pandemic

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to spread, the economic consequences are getting complicated. M any business owners are uncertain of what steps to take to control risk, protect employees and clients. With people already working from home, there are a lot of tools business owners can utilize so that everyone can stay in touch and keep working even if they aren’t in the same workplace.

When a crisis hits, it is natural for the business owners to own the crisis response. Crises will increasingly become harder to contain and more complex to solve and address.
With the increasing demands from shareholders and investors, there will be even less room for error, thus making organizations and leaders responsible for doing the right thing from the outset. This way businesses can turn crises to their advantage. Overall, how fast companies can adapt to the effect of the coronavirus pandemic will be important to their survival. It is important to note that crisis situations provide holistic learning environments for businesses to grow, thrive, adapt and test their internal processes.

BEST PRACTICES FOR HOSTING A WEBINAR
HOW TO EFFECTIVELY HOST A DIGITAL EVENT?
USE WIRED CONNECTION

This will help you avoid any interruptions with an unstable wireless connection, which can affect your audio quality and the overall attendee experience.

MINIMIZE BACKGROUND NOISE

Try to host your event in a quiet place as much as possible. Using a noise cancellation microphone is recommended.

DRESS PROPERLY

Wear business attire with solid colors. Accessories or jewelries may cause noise during movement that is quite distracting.
BE PUNCTUAL

Start your webinar 5 minutes early to allow your attendees to join on time. It is important to inform attendees when the event will begin and if the content will be recorded and shared afterward.

SF HISTORY
KNOW MORE ABOUT HISTORY OF SAN FRANCISCO
1848 Gold Rush
The Gold Rush of 1848 is usually considered as the single most significant event that took millions of citizens to the western stretches of America. Before this, much of the west coast was still seen as savage lands not ideal for civilized eastern citizens. San Francisco was affected by the mining era in 1849. The population boomed with many Chinese workers in the gold mines and railroads. The Chinatown district of the city became and is still one of the largest in the country. Many businesses founded to service the growing population exist today, notably Levi Strauss & Co. clothing, Ghirardelli chocolate, and Wells Fargo bank.
