REAL ESTATE NEWS IN SAN FRANCISCO

San Francisco 49ers are off to a VICTORY!

The San Francisco 49ers are on their way to Miami to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV. This will be their 7th Super Bowl appearance since 2012. They won 5 Super Bowls between 1981 to 1994! It will be a historical moment for the 49ers to win the Super Bowl LIV as they will tie the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl victories in NFL history.

The 49ers have ranked first in defense during the playoffs and second in the regular season, as well as first in total pass defense. Many believe that the Niners' defense is perfectly equipped to stop the Chiefs. The Super Bowl LIV is taking place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens tomorrow! (Feb. 2)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
What Is An Escrow?

Escrow is the process in which a title company holds your earnest money deposit funds in their bank account while everyone is working to transfer the ownership of a home to you. Earnest money deposits are often called "good faith" deposits meaning that you have the good intention to buy the property and are willing to let the title company hold the money toward your purchase.

When it comes to your mortgage payment you most likely know it’s made up of the principal and interest. What a lot of buyers over look is the third part of that payment, the escrow. It’s this part of the payment that can cause your mortgage to go up or down. This account is set up to make sure you have the money to pay for your homeowner’s insurance, PMI and taxes.

In a nutshell escrow is a neutral third party company that collects all the proper paperwork for the agents, buyers and sellers to make the sale of a home legal. Escrow also holds the money from the buyer for the lender they have and then transfers all the money to the right parties.

SF HISTORY
KNOW MORE ABOUT HISTORY OF SAN FRANCISCO

San Francisco was established on June 29, 1776, when Spaniards set up Presidio of San Francisco at the Mission San Francisco de Asís all named after St. Francis of Assisi.
Before Europeans showed up, two gatherings of Native Americans lived in the San Francisco area. They were hunters and gatherers and they lived by chasing creatures, angling and gathering shellfish and nuts and natural products. Francis Drake secured his ship off Point Reyes in 1579 yet he neglected to find San Francisco Bay. A lot later, in 1769 Gaspar de Portola drove a Spanish endeavor overland and he found the cove. At that point in 1776, Juan de Anza drove a gathering of pilgrims to San Francisco Bay and they set up a stronghold called a Presidio.
