BEACHES
Beaches are currently open with no “passive” activity permitted (sitting in a beach chair, blanket, etc.). But, both towns have announced the beach will be open to passive activity as of Friday May29th!
BOARDWALK
The Boardwalk in Avalon will be open as of Friday May 29th!
VACATION RENTALS
Rental restrictions in both towns have been removed, allowing rentals with a term of 30 days or more to begin now, and rentals of less than 30 days may begin on June 1st

BEACH TAGS
Beach Tags are required in Stone Harbor as of Memorial Weekend, and not until July 3rd in Avalon. Season beach tags may be purchased at a discounted rate of $25 up until the end of June.
RESTAURANTS, RETAIL, ETC.
Restaurants, Retail, etc., are regulated by the State of NJ. Many of your favorite Restaurants have been open for take-out & delivery only. The Borough of Avalon will soon receive an executive order from the Mayor that will open-up (only for the summer of 2020) some outdoor dining & retail opportunities.

All of this was accomplished through the valid efforts of the local municipalities working together with Trenton. To keep us open, we are counting on YOU to continue to practice social distancing. Wear a mask when necessary and be respectful of everyone’s space. Without YOUR cooperation, summer could come to a quick end.
