Mortgage Rate Watch
Mortgage rates remain flat, despite fears of trade wars that will send investors to the bond markets. High demand for bonds tends to result in lower interest rates, although so far, we have not seen that happen.  (Source: Mortgage New Daily)

Our Favorite Things
Miniature Golf - Supersized Gifts!

No trip to Cape Cod is complete without at least one round of miniature golf and a trip to a gargantuan souvenir shop!  Here are some places where you can do both at the same time!

Gift Barn (North Eastham) - If you're on the Outer Cape, stop in to the Gift Barn -- the big red barn on the east side of route 6.  In business since 1976, the Gift Barn features over 5000 square feet of gifts, a game arcade, and a two-level 18-hole golf course.  They are open every day and have theme nights once a week.  This one is not to be missed.

Cape Escape (Orleans) -Just a stone's throw from the Orleans rotary is this family-friendly oasis complete with a respectable mini-golf course, a koi-pond filled with fish who eat from your hand like dogs, a REAL dog whose usually mulling about, and a large gift store across the parking lot.  There's an ice-cream shop and a Wendy's in the same general parking area.

Pirate's Cove (Yarmouth) - Voted "Best Kid's Activity" by Cape Cod Magazine every year since 1996, Pirate's Cove is a vacation-must for those on the Mid-Cape.  There are TWO courses to keep you from getting bored if you want to play 36.  The gift shop has a pirate theme, although there are lots of non-pirate gifts as well.  But be forewarned:  it will take a few days to get the "yo ho" pirate theme song out of your head.
