REALTOR® Marks: Avoid Descriptive Wording
The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)'s Bylaws prohibit the use of descriptive wording with the REALTOR® Marks. The REALTOR® Marks are intended to distinguish members from non-members.
Adding descriptive wording, such as geographic terms (for example, South Jersey REALTOR®), adjectives (such as Professional REALTOR® or Top REALTOR®), or phrases like “my REALTOR®,” “your REALTOR®,” or “the REALTOR®,” has the improper effect of distinguishing between members.
To maintain the integrity of the REALTOR® brand, always use the Marks in accordance with NAR’s guidelines and without any descriptive modifiers.
