to our client, CEA Group!
Sherin and Lodgen represented CEA Group in the redevelopment of the former New Harbour Mall in Fall River, MA. The new development, SouthCoast Marketplace, is scheduled to open fall 2017 and will include over 25 tenants in 350,000 square feet.

Brigham and Women's Hospital Breaks Ground on Westwood Site
Sherin and Lodgen represented Brigham and Women's Hospital in connection with the negotiation of the acquisition of a 4.4 acre site and securing the permits from the Town of Westwood. The site will include an 80,000 square feet medical office building in University Station. Construction of phase one is scheduled to be completed in September 2018.
The seller is a consortium of New England Development, National Development and Eastern Development.
The Sherin and Lodgen team was led by Ronald W. Ruth, partner in the firm's real estate department and co-chair of the environmental group.

Sherin and Lodgen represents Boston Community Loan Fund, Inc. in financing charter and renaissance schools
Sherin and Lodgen continues to represent Boston Community Loan Fund (BCLF) in connection with permanent and construction loans for the development of charter and renaissance schools in Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island and New Jersey. These loans often include United States Department of Education Credit Enhancement benefits from a grant administered by BCLF and Historic Tax Credit and New Markets Tax Credit components. In 2017, our representation has included loans for the Brooke Charter High School in Boston, MA, the Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy (SM) in Cumberland, Rhode Island and two Renaissance schools in Camden, NJ: KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy's Whittier project, and Mastery Schools' multi-campus project.
BCLF, one of Boston Community Capital's core businesses, has made loans totaling over $600 million to affordable housing developers and nonprofit organizations enhancing the lives of low income individuals and families. Their reach extends throughout New England, the Mid-Atlantic, and down the South-Eastern coast.
