“If I were asked to name the chief benefit of the house, I should say: the house shelters daydreaming, the house protects the dreamer, the house allows one to dream in peace.”
— Gaston Bachelard

Landform Feng Shui: Siting Your House for Construction
Simple and practical considerations for building and siting a home or other structure.

If you currently selecting a site for a new home or thinking of doing so in the future, then consider using the Feng Shui to help you find the best property for your home construction and make the most of your investment. Feng Shui was originally used for the auspicious placement of government buildings and imperial palaces for Chinese emperors to assure their wealth, success, health and happiness. It is just as applicable in modern times, as you choose land to build your dream home.

A key component to site selection with Feng Shui is to find land with good “chi.” Chi means energy and the best sites have positive life force energy.

Feng Shui Tips for Moving Into a New Home
You found your dream space and the moving truck is rented. Take a few minutes to get your place "feng shui ready."

Where we live is an essential element of our lives. It is where we feel safe. It is such a precarious time when we are moving into a home, so it is during this transition time that feng shui can be of great assistance. It is helpful to implement some feng shui when moving because it’s easy and extremely effective to start off your home with the right fundamentals in place.

How to List Your Home with Intention
As a Feng Shui strategist, intention is critical to all we do. It helps you become very successful in all you are working to achieve.

--Interview and pick your Realtor. This is the most important step, and many don't realize how crucial your Realtor is. Your Realtor is the person that has your back throughout the whole process, the person that will answer your questions, guide you and get you the best results. Pick someone you connect with, whether you are listing, buying or building. Protect yourself with a professional. Feng Shui can differentiate your home from the rest. It is the energy of your home that will attract that buyer.

--Start decluttering and deep cleaning your home. Not only will this make your buyer feel good when they enter the space, but it will also set you up for expansion. You will feel more at peace in your home as clutter and dust is stagnant energy. Once removed, your home will feel like a breath of fresh air.

--Fix anything broken. Anything not working in your home has a meaning, broken door handles may mean you don't have a handle on your life, or opportunity cannot seem to make its way to you. Water equal money, you have heard it, and it is true.

--Open all the windows, open the blinds, the curtains, and if it is nice outside, open the windows and let in the fresh air. Sunshine and fresh air are medicinal and life the chi in your home.

--Stand on the street across from your home. What do you see? You need to be able to see the front door and your house numbers. If you cannot get to your front door; opportunities, abundance, and buyers will pass you by.
