In January 2022 a partnership was in the making between the MLS professional soccer club Real Salt Lake and our club. Today, April 24 we want to communicate club wide that the partnership is a go and announced the details of some of the upcoming events for any of you who were interested!

For those of you not familiar with Real Salt Lake (RSL), RSL it is a professional club in the top tier of USA soccer which is Major League Soccer or MLS. Historical background, club philosophy and the RSL way can be found here.

Many great things will arise from this partnership and here are some:

-100 discounted tickets (50% off) for our players to attend the game(s) in our Club Night ($17, regular $34) every year. Additional club members can also get discounted tickets for $23 (regular $34). Our club will provide free tickets to our competitive program coaches.

During the 2022 MLS season, our members can choose to attend one or both of these following games:

-On Game Day, our players will be able to attend a free clinic by RSL/Monarchs coaching staff at the American First Field, also at Sandy, Utah. For example for the first free clinic on May 28, former pro RSL player Taylor Pea will conduct the clinic.

-Game Day Recognition on Club Night

-Parade of Kings

As an example of a pre-game ammenity, RSL invited our Real SC players to participate in their Parade of Kings for the game on May 28th vs Houston Dynamo.  Players will run out on the field and line the perimeter of the field while the players walk out.

-Discount at team store on Club Night (must wear team jersey to the match)

Later on during the MLS season (probably in the Fall 2022 during the international soccer break), we also would have these opportunities:

-25 Passes to the RSL Meet the Team event

-1 Team Signed Ball

Plus:

-Zoom sessions with First Team staff throughout the MLS regular season (players, coaches and parents!)

As said in our January 2022 communication, one of the coolest things that was being worked out between our club and RSL was to be able to bring RSL staff to Idaho to do a players/coaches clinic! We are still working out the feasibility of these clinics and we are hoping we can get this going for our players and coaches for the Summer 2023.
