This is a FREE 10-week program for youth ages 11-14 who are interested in writing and reporting the GOOD news from Greater Englewood...There are only 8 slots available, interested parents and participants please join us Wednesday, April 6, at 5:30pm at West Englewood Library, 1745 W. 63rd St. Also, check out the story about cycle 1 on the Englewood Portal . Englewood Portal Editorial Committee is seeking high school juniors or seniors to serves as a student editor of the Englewood Portal, the only website with up-to-date news happening daily in the Greater Englewood community. Student News Editor is responsible for front page coverage on topics including but notlimited to arts and culture, education, economic development, and additional special topics. Student reports to the Englewood Portal Manager. Appointed for summer and fall sessions during the academic year. For more info email rashanah@englewoodportal.org

If you are ready to change the game to improve the conditions of your neighborhood join RAGE (Resident Association of Greater Englewood)!!
We are an action-oriented group of residents from Greater Englewood who joined forces to change the game and take our neighborhoods back!!
*All these programs offer service learning credits and students will gain civic experience.
Let's support these residents driven programs and encourage all of our future leaders of Greater Englewood to think creatively to make an positive impact in their neighborhood!
