Praise Break Report
Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for my soul.
Psalm 66:16 NKJV

"Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours. And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.”
1 Corinthians 3:18-23 NKJV
Acknowledging our ignorance while embracing our dependence on God’s wisdom goes a long way toward promoting mental clarity and personal humility. When we realize that what we know, or what anybody knows for that matter, doesn’t amount to a hill of beans when compared to the all-encompassing wisdom of Almighty God, it’s grounding. It provides an automatic restraint on big-headedness and delusions of grandeur, on idolizing ourselves or others.
The above Scripture quotes the Apostle Paul addressing Corinthian believers who were acting like spiritual groupies, favoring certain Christian leaders over others because of their knowledge. Paul had to remind them that all of that was foolishness – that the only Person who deserved to be bragged about is the Lord!
The most complex thought from the most intellectual mind is nothing compared to the One Who made our minds and everything else. Real wisdom comes from the Lord. For those who are willing to accept that we are “but men,” He blesses us with love, wisdom and revelation that have no peer and know no bounds.
Blessings,
Minister Ann Pinkney

Let's give Him some Praise!
~ Praise Break Report ~
The following is Part 3 of a Praise Report from Pastor Lori Hartman, who leads a congregation in a large, historic church in New York’s Harlem community. The church, planned and built by African-Americans, is almost 100 years old and, and needed some major repair work. The contractor hired to do the job became difficult, didn’t do the work, and threated to report the church building to the city and put a lien on the property for bogus, backdated invoices for equipment rentals. In response Pastor Lori praying with Word Fellowship Ministries, asked God to intervene:
“I accepted the answered prayer as reality, surrendering to God's outcome and then anger, anxiety and frustration lifted away from me.
Well...the following week, everything began to unfold for us seamlessly! The existing contractor's workers arrived to remove their sidewalk shed from both sides of the building. I was led to contact the local office of a national architectural firm who referred me to a contractor who contacted me, came to assess the building and brought an engineer and sidewalk shed contractor to meet with me at the church. They began to advise and work with me, explaining the next steps and options without pressuring me to hire them. The engineer requested that a sidewalk shed be erected immediately and took over the contract negotiation resulting in a $10,000 reduction in the cost. The shed construction/installation began that same afternoon that I spoke with him.
The way before us is like the cloud by day that led the Israelites in the wilderness (Exodus 13:20-22) - allowing for just enough sight to keep their faith, if they can look past their existing condition. These new contractors expressed reverence for the project, the church building and its history, and for me and my congregation. There is much work ahead, and I am excited to see God's work continue to unfold before my very eyes.
God was clearly answering our prayers. My part was effortless but challenging. I am to stay positive and to live grace-fully. I began to align myself with and trust God's grace and God's answered prayer. To live as if the prayer had already been answered. Letting it all go to God - even the kerfuffles along the way. Staying in joy and feeling the strength that comes from my joy in the Lord. Every morning there are brand new mercies to experience and behold. (Lamentations 3:22- 23)
God is leading me:
-
to let go of the past (including recounting, complaining, explaining, reasoning, justifying, rationalizing, and contriving retribution). Forgiveness is the key - 7 x 70 (Matthew 18: 21-22).
- to see Him work in the present
- to keep moving forward like a sheep trusting the good shepherd
- to live the experience of the blessing
In this way, prayerfully I can lead my congregation authentically as a living testimony to God's amazing grace."

Salvation or Restoration
If you would like to accept and confess Jesus Christ, making Him your personal Lord and Savior, or if you have turned away from Him to go your own way and wish to return to Him, pray the following prayer aloud:
Dear Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God.
I believe You died and rose from the dead on the third day.
I believe You are alive and seated at the right hand of the Father.
I believe you died for my sin; paying the debt for sin that I could not pay myself.
Please forgive me for all my sin.
Please come into my heart and my life, and be my Lord and Savior.
I am forgiven. I am now born-again. I am now a child of God.
Thank You, Lord.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
If you have just made Jesus the Lord of your life, contact us so we may celebrate with all of heaven, welcoming you to the family of God.
We would like to send some free information to you to help get you started.
Many blessings to you!
