Real Men eat Greens March 2016
In This Issue
Greetings from Rachel!
The Tower Garden is OUT of this WORLD!
Home to Space Camp® and Aviation Challenge® Camp, the  U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) is the most comprehensive U.S. manned spaceflight hardware museum in the world. Its large rocket and space hardware collection is valued in the tens of millions of dollars. From America's first satellite, Explorer I, to next generation space vehicles like Sierra Nevada's Dream Chaser, the museum showcases the past, present and future of human spaceflight.
And now they have flown into the future of growing with the Tower Garden! Posted on their FB page on Feb.13:  " We harvested the first produce from our aeroponics this week! We're very excited for the updates coming to our Mars Grill."

The researchers suggest nearly all of our genes may be influenced by the food we eat.  Providing new evidence to support the old adage "we are what we eat," the study is published in the journal Nature Microbiology... We have also discovered that an individual is not just a product of genetics, there is also epigenetics, which can modify the genome. Epigenetics means that the blueprint held in DNA can vary in that genes can be switched on and off by other genes or bits of DNA, and even by proteins that attach "epigenetic markers" onto the DNA... read on .
