We all look at life through our own lens

     My rear view mirror is helpful for it lets me know where I've been. However my focus is looking forward for that is where I am going.  What lies behind is a memory, what is ahead is a mystery so I'll concentrate on my present path for that is where I am.

     May you also look forward as you journey down your path of life.

Looking Forward
 


I'm not looking in the rearview mirror

For that's not the way I am going.

I am looking straight ahead

For that is the way I'll be going.

 
The past is over and done with

So I will let the past - just be.

I'll plan what's in the future

What are God's plans for me?

 
What's ahead for me I do not know

So under His wing I will stay.

I'll make my plans for this year

Trusting God will lead my way.

 
Summer gives me the opportunity

To examine my life once again.

Where I've been, where I am going

With God's guidance this year will be a win.
