REALTORS® Give Back
Annual Rebuild Day Helps Five North City Homeowners
2018 marks the third consecutive year St. Louis REALTORS® Foundation and Rebuilding Together STL have come together in a united effort to help renovate the properties of homeowners in need. More than 100 volunteers worked on the restorations including installing new bathroom fixtures, repairing water damaged floors, wall coating and painting, constructing decks, repairing ramps and more.
“We had a great turnout and it's very rewarding. We absolutely have a responsibility to give back to our communities … the smiles on the faces of these homeowners, you can't put a monetary value on it.” - Marc Levinson, 2018 President
St. Louis REALTORS®
What is St. Louis REALTORS® Foundation?
In response to the growing concern in the region for our homeless and recognizing the natural link between that problem and the REALTOR® profession, St. Louis REALTORS® Foundation (originally known as the REALTORS® Housing Assistance Fund) was established in 1989, by then St. Louis REALTORS® President Ellen O’Brien. The Foundation is a qualified, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) vehicle for St. Louis REALTORS® members to give back to their community and serve the area homeless. Since it's inception nearly 30 years ago, the Foundation has evolved into an avenue for REALTORS® to help make the American dream of homeownership possible for all in Greater Saint Louis.
