Come join the SAME

Sacramento Post team!

The Sacramento Post need up to 25 volunteers to perform maintenance and repair tasks at a home of someone in need - skilled and unskilled labor welcome! Our team will be performing maintenance and repair tasks one of more than 12+ homes as part of the Rebuilding Together Sacramento - Rebuild Day event.

What is involved? Since 2016, members of the Post (and other volunteers) band together to provide skilled and unskilled workers who will repair the home of someone in need. This year, the Sacramento Post will again take the lead at a local home to perform maintenance and repair work.

Repairs/maintenance work include:

Landscape maintenance (mowing, tree trimming, plant removal and new plantings), fencing and interior repairs.

Please note:

  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please provide any dietary restrictions in the Volunteer Notes at the bottom of the signup form and email the event POC, Bryce Bachmann (information listed below).
  • Water will be provided. Bring any additional drinks you would like.
  • Gloves, tools, and supplies for repairs will be provided.
  • Bring sunscreen, hats, and other essentials for protecting yourself against the sun and to help stay cool. Please wear closed-toed shoes and dress appropriately for the activity for your safety.
